NARRATIVE:
Latinos constitute to one of the fastest-growing communities on Long Island, comprising 20.2% of the total population of 2.9 million, according to the latest Census Bureau data.
Latinos are a resilient community, making significant positive contributions to Long Island and the nation at large. It is our firm belief that Latinos deserve equitable access to resources and opportunities, playing a pivotal role in various spheres such as social and economic growth, business, politics, the workforce, real estate, and more.
Our aim is clear: Latinos must be seen, heard, and valued. We represent Hispanic leadership committed to working collaboratively to advance the interests of Latinos on Long Island. Our collective effort involves breaking stereotypes and elevating the voices of our community. We advocate for equity, equal representation, and the empowerment of Latinos of all ages. We believe in the collective power of unity to bring about positive change.
